Why This Policy Covers Two Distinct Types of Processing

This Privacy Policy applies to the personal data collected through this website (diagnosee.com) — for example, when you fill out the contact form or request a demo. It is separate from the data processing carried out through the Diagnosee platform by our veterinary clinic customers. For that processing, the clinic acts as Data Controller and RedBing acts as Data Processor under Article 28 of the GDPR, pursuant to the data processing agreement included in the commercial contract signed with each customer. If you are a client or patient of a clinic that uses Diagnosee, please contact that clinic directly to exercise your rights, as it is your point of contact as Data Controller.

Data Collected Through the Website

Name, email address, organization name, and message content, when you fill out the contact form or request a demo. We do not collect clinical, patient, or animal data through the website.

A Note on Animals and Clinical Data

Under the GDPR, information relating to an animal (species, breed, medical record, diagnostic images) does not in itself constitute "personal data," since the GDPR protects natural persons. However, this same data often includes information about the animal's owner (name, contact details) or the clinical staff who performed the examination, which is personal data in every respect. RedBing nonetheless applies high standards of security and confidentiality to all data processed through the platform, regardless of its formal classification, in keeping with the sensitive nature of the clinical context.

Purpose and Legal Basis (Data Collected Through the Website)

To respond to your enquiries and provide you with information about our products, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) or to take pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Sub-processors and Transfers

We rely on third-party providers (e.g., cloud hosting) to deliver our services. We do not transfer data outside the EU without the safeguards required by the GDPR (e.g., standard contractual clauses) and without prior notice, where applicable.

We adopt technical and organizational security measures appropriate to the context. In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will inform you without undue delay, in accordance with Articles 33-34 GDPR, and will notify the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali (Italian Data Protection Authority) within 72 hours of becoming aware of the event, where required.
